Buchtipp: The Fault In Our Stars

Ja, ich weiss. Ich bin etwas spät. Dieses Buch wurde schon von tausenden Leuten vor mir gehypt, spätestens als es verfilmt wurde. Ich hatte von vielen vernommen, dass das Buch echt gut sei, dass es sich total lohne, es zu lesen. Doch ich habe mich erst vor etwa zwei Wochen daran gemacht, das Buch zu lesen.
Und ich bin begeistert. Es ist so ehrlich, so natürlich. Es gibt kein grosses Tamtam, kein Drama, und doch ist es so berührend und auch dramatisch. Die Trockenheit der Protagonisten, ihre Sichtweise, all das ist einzigartig und macht das Buch zu einem absoluten Lesetipp.
Ich empfehle aber unbedingt, die englische Originalversion zu lesen. Meiner Meinung nach bringt die englische Sprache all die Emotionen und Implikationen viel besser rüber als die deutsche.
Meine Schwester hat vor einiger Zeit "The Fault In Our Stars" in Deutsch gelesen. Als sie das Buch einmal auf unserem Küchentisch liegen gelassen hatte, las ich die ersten paar Seiten. Ich fand es schon damals sehr gut, aber in Englisch hat es mich noch viel mehr überzeugt. LEST ES!
Für all diejenigen, die noch nicht davon gehört haben und gerne wissen möchten, um was es geht: Hazel Grace ist eine Krebspatientin, die weiss, dass sie an ihrem Krebs sterben wird. In einer Art Selbsthilfegruppe für Krebskranke lernt sie Augustus Waters kennen und lieben.

Yes, I know. I am late. This book was hyped by already thousands of people before, at least since there was made a film of it. I heard from many poeple that the book was very good and that it was worth to read it. But I just began to read it two weeks ago.

And I am thrilled. It's so honest, so natural. There is no big fuss, no drama, and though it is very touching and also dramatic. The drought of the protagonists, their point of view, all these things are unique and make the book absolutely worthy to read.

I recommend absolutely to read the english original version of this book. I think that the english language is presenting the emotions a lot better than the german version.

My sister read "The Fault In Our Stars" a while ago in German. One day she forgot the book on our kitchen table, so I read the first few pages. I thought already back then that this book was great, but in English it convinced me way more. READ IT!

For all of you who didn't hear about the book until now and want to know what the book is about: Hazel Grace is a cancer patient who knows, that she is going to die from her cancer. In Cancer Kid Support Group, she mets Augustus Waters and falls in love with him.
